1. preheating: heat the oil after degumming, deacidification and other pretreatment to a certain temperature, usually around 100 ℃ -120 ℃, to reduce the viscosity of the oil and facilitate subsequent treatment.
2. steam introduction: high temperature and high pressure steam is introduced into the deodorization tower to fully contact with grease. The function of steam is to bring out the odor substances, free fatty acids and other impurities in the oil, and also to stir the oil, so that the oil and steam can be fully mixed.
3. stripping: while introducing steam, depressurize the deodorizer to reduce the pressure in the tower to a certain extent, usually about 0.1-0.5 kPa. Under the condition of reduced pressure, the boiling points of odor substances and free fatty acids and other impurities in the oil are reduced, and the oil is easier to be extracted by steam.
4. separation: the mixture of oil and water vapor after stripping enters the separator, and the oil and water vapor are separated by gravity separation or centrifugal separation. The separated steam is discharged after cooling and condensation, and the grease enters the next process.
5. cooling: cool the separated grease to room temperature or slightly higher for storage and transportation. The oil after cooling is the refined oil after deodorization treatment.
      In the actual oil refining process, the operating conditions and process parameters of the deodorizer will be adjusted and optimized according to the type of oil, quality requirements, production scale and other factors. At the same time, in order to improve the deodorization effect and oil quality, some auxiliary agents, such as citric acid and antioxidant, may also be added to the deodorizer.
